A US$10.6 million contract for the rehabilitation of White Plains Water Treatment Plant has been signed between the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC) and Chongqing International Construction Corporation (CICO). CICO is a Chinese construction company operating in Liberia.

The contract would ensure the rehabilitation of the White Plains Water Treatment Plant 36 inches and 21 kilometers transmission line which runs from White Plains to Red-Light in Paynesville.
