The Management of the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation ( LWSC ) wishes to inform its valued customers and the general public that it has completed all repair works on the thirty six inch transmission pipeline.
The thirty six inch transmission pipeline, which runs from the White Plains Water Treatment Plant through Louisiana and Paynesville City, supplies the biggest chunk of the LWSC customers base spread across it’s twelve (12 ) service zones including Johnsonville, Gardnersville, Barnersville, Paynesville,RIA highways, Congo Town,Sinkor and its adjacent communities, Capitol bye pass and its adjacent communities and central Monrovia.
LWSC also wants to inform its valued customers and the general public that it has begun testing the repaired pipeline by pumping water to the mentioned communities.
Therefore, the Corporation is advising all its consumers to kindly leave their faucets open for at least two (2) minutes to allow debris to flow out before full usage.
Also, the LWSC wants to assure its valued customers and the general public that base on the results from the current testing, a determination on the full scale supply of water to all our service zones will be made based on the advice of our technical department.
Once again, the management of LWSC regrets the Inconvenience the recent water outage may have caused all our valued customers.
