The Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC) has not been able to pump water to the public over the last two days due to the lack of power supply from the Mt. Coffee Hydro by the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC).
According to the LEC, the breakdown in the power supply to the Water Treatment Plant is a result of the damage caused to the power line by the storm that occurred three days ago.
The LEC has assured the LWSC that its technicians are working around the clock to restore power to the White Plains Water Treatment Plant.
The Management of the LWSC regrets the incident and assures its customers that the water supply will resume as soon as the LEC restores power supply to the Water Treatment Plant.
