Major Leak Repair Completed

We are pleased to announce the successful repair of several significant leaks that were recently identified on our second transmission main, specifically the 16-inch pipeline. These leaks had gone unlocated for several years and had adversely affected water pressure and connectivity for numerous customers in Clara Town, Doe Community, and the Freeport area of Monrovia.

The leaks were identified in three separate areas, spanning approximately 5 feet of the 16-inch transmission main. This 16-inch transmission pipeline serves as a crucial water source for the residents of Freeport and its neighboring communities on Bushrod Island. With the repairs now completed, we anticipate a substantial boost in water pressure in these areas and connection of additional residents and businesses, enhancing access to reliable water supply.
