PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Mass Disconnection Exercise

Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation

King Sao Boso Street, P.O Box 1079

Monrovia, Liberia

The management of the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC) announces to all its valued customers and the general public that beginning Monday, April 22, 2024, the Corporation will commence a MASSIVE DISCONNECTION EXERCISE of all its delinquent customers and illegal connections from both water and sewer lines

This announcement should claim the immediate attention of all customers who have financial obligations to the Corporation to settle as this Mass Disconnection Exercise will spare absolutely no customer.

This should also claim the attention of individuals who are illegally connected to the LWSC network as this Exercise will disconnect all customers who fail to present registration documents for viewing by our Disconnection Task Force.

LWSC therefore encourages all of its customers who are found to be in the categories mentioned above to kindly proceed to its offices on Front Street and Fiamah in Sinkor to settle their water and sewer bills and regularize their status.

LWSC wants to assure all of its valued customers inclusive of both water and sewer that the Disconnection Exercise is intended to raise revenues for the purpose of providing quality services to its valued customers.

The Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation, LWSC is at the same time informing the general public not to make payments to individuals on the field in the name of New Connection as all new connection registrations are only done at the Corporation’s offices on Front Street and in Fiamah at the Corporation’s sewer plant.

The LWSC wants the general public to take note and avoid being duped by individuals who purport themselves as employees of the Corporation as the LWSC will disconnect and also take legal action against all individuals utilizing its services but are not captured in the customers’ database.

When you think LWSC, think of safe water and affordable hygiene services for the people of Liberia.

Signed: The Management
