The Managing Director of the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation Hon.Duannah A.Kamara is joining His Excellency President George Manneh Weah and stakeholders in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County to participate in the fourth (4th) Annual Water,Sanitation and Hygiene ( WASH) Joint sector Review (JSR).

The JSR is aimed at identifying and agreeing on sector priorities by reviewing the progress against key strategic plans and reflecting on sectorial performance.

The outcome of the two (2) days Buchanan gathering which begins this Thursday will be a presentation on the undertakings for fiscal year 2018/2019.

This year,the sector will showcase its third (3rd) Sector Performance Report (SPR) which is a detailed Technical analysis of activities supported by data.

As writer of SPR,the LWSC will join the Ministry of Public works for presentations on Water Resources,Access to Rural Water,Community led Total Sanitation and Hygiene.

Other topics for thematic presentation by the Corporation and other stakeholders of the WASH sector include Urban Water and Sanitation,Drinking Water Quality,WASH emergence preparedness and Responses.

Managing Director Kamara and team return to Monrovia on Friday at the close of the JSR.
